This Privacy Policy explains how FINGERPOWER DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use https://freem.ai and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and a password hash when you sign up (sign-in is optional for search).
• Search queries and inputs: the questions you ask, follow-up questions, and any images or files you upload, which are processed to generate answers.
• Usage data: IP address, approximate location, browser type, pages visited, referrer, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 5.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and answer your queries;
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
• To respond to support requests;
• To analyze and improve performance and reliability;
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only with:

• Service providers that perform functions on our behalf (hosting, AI model APIs, analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations. To answer your queries we send them to our AI model provider(s);
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property;
• Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the protections in this policy.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use first-party cookies and browser local storage for authentication, language preference, theme preference, and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; certain features may not function without them.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure for legal and dispute-resolution purposes. Query and request logs are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including TLS in transit, encryption at rest where applicable, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work continuously to protect your data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, email support@freem.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know the categories of personal information we collect and disclose, and the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR. Our lawful bases for processing include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating the Service, consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice.
